Sportsmanship. Support. Fun. These are just a few of the things the Barracudas
work on during summer swim. Each summer our swimmers push themselves to be the best
they can be, cheer on their teammates, and make lifelong memories along the way. And we
like to say once a Barracuda, always a Barracuda. The Barracuda family has always supported
local organizations that give back to our community and now it’s time for us to give back to our own community. We are hosting a Swim-a-Thon to raise funds to support the Mischel’s a local family who have had several Barracudas swim over the years and are dealing with significant health issues abroad, 5,500 miles away, to be specific.
It is our goal to help the Mischel’s by even 1% (although we would love to exceed this goal!)
and to that end, we have pledged to swim 55 miles to raise awareness and money to make
things just a little easier.
While not a traditional pledge-per-lap, we are asking for support for by making a one-time
donation. Please feel free to ask friends, neighbors and family members. Our suggested
donation is $25, but any support is welcome, can be in any denomination, and one that is
