The HGBA Board of Directors is elected annually each year. Nominations are received from members of the HGBA in April.
All board members must be active business owners or professionals serving the Haymarket or Gainesville communities.
Ours is a working board and each member plays a key role in the success of the HGBA.
Board members usually serve for two years, but can stay on the board for more and up to 3 terms.
The HGBA membership will cast votes for each of the positions at HGBA Monthly Meeting in May. New board members start their term in June.

Terri Aufmuth, Owner of Cornerstone Landscaping, a local landscape design, build, and maintain firm serving Northern Virginia since 1997. Terri is also a board member of Comfort Cases, and has resided in Prince William County since 1979.
Past President – Steve Oviatt | Battlefield Telecom Consulting, LLC
Steve Oviatt is President of Battlefield Telecom Consulting, building on his experience in the data networking and telecom industries. He also works with several local and international wineries.
Vice President – Pat Ennis | American Solutions for Business
Pat Ennis, Owner at American Solutions for Business, providing marketing services, printing and promotional products to local businesses since 2003. American Solutions (asb-va.com) was selected Micro Business of the Year in 2015 by the Prince William Chamber.
Treasurer - Webmaster/Communication – Bob Moe | Moe Technologies, Inc.
Bob started MoeTec in 2001 and has grown his business to over 150 managed website, providing web development, search engine optimization (SEO), website hosting and maintenance. Active in local chambers with Fauquier counties and on the board of the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association and Fauquier County Pickleball Association.

Jason Knight is a Regional Sales Manager for Stillwater Insurance in VA & MD. He has been in the insurance business for 19 years working in the Mid-Atlantic. Jason is also VP of the Sweet Julia Grace Foundation, a local non-profit in honor of his daughter, that fills in the gaps, grant wishes, and meets the non-medical needs of children that are seriously ill, have special needs, or are in the midst of a medical crisis.

She has worked with national, regional and local media to secure consistent news coverage for her clients. Asha also instructed students in the Master of Science in Management program at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., teaching Managing External Communications and Advanced Business Communications.
Marketing - Jason Shriner | City of Manassas Park, Parks & Rec
Jason has been the Marketing Manager for the City of Manassas Park, Department of Parks and Recreation since August 2015. Jason’s marketing philosophy follows three guiding principles: reflect the community you serve, meet people where they are at, and be involved in the community. Jason is involved in the Prince William Chamber of Commerce in a variety of capacities (including the young professionals group and the not-for-profit council), a member of the Citizen’s Advisory Board for the Prince William County Police Department, and a member of the marketing committee for the Haymarket Gainesville Business Association. Jason is also a proud youth facilitator for the PWC Community Group of MetroDC PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of the LGBTQ community) where he provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth monthly at Bull Run Unitarian Universalists. Jason is also an engaged Leadership Prince William alum from the Class of 2017 where he was voted as the Class Liaison and hosts engagement opportunities with his co-liaison.
Membership – Dennis Taylor | Paradigm Solutions
Dennis is responsible for relationship development and interfacing with Paradigm Solutions’ clients, who are private and public businesses of all sizes. The company has also served several municipalities in Virginia. In addition, Dennis also supports consulting service delivery to many of the firm’s clients and chairs the company’s Continuum Business Development groups. He also oversees the marketing and information technology programs for Golden Rule Builders. Before co-launching Paradigm Solutions, Dennis was employed for 17 years by Intertek Technical Services, a global supply chain improvement and quality assurance consulting firm serving the aerospace, defense, and commercial manufacturing markets. Dennis served Intertek in various management capacities, including: Director, Operations; Director, International Business Operations; Chief Operating Officer; and for the last seven years of his career with the company, as President and Chief Operating Officer. In addition to work, Dennis has volunteered for numerous local organizations including the Warrenton Regional Chamber (WRC), the Balanced Growth Alliance (BGA), Fauquier County Government’s Economic Development Authority, Fauquier County Government’s Broadband Advisory Committee, Fauquier County Government’s Business Advisory Committee (BAC), The Partnership for Warrenton Foundation, the Southern Fauquier Business Owners Association (SFBOA), and VDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway Program.
